Surfside 6

Surfside 6 is an hour long dram detective series that aired on ABC and premiered on October 6, 1960.

The show centered on a Miami Beach detective agency set on a houseboat with detectives Sandy Winfield II, Kenny Madison and Dave Thorne. Socialite Daphne Dutton’s yacht was berthed next to their houseboat. Cha Cha O’Brien, was an entertainer who worked at the Boom Boom Room, a popular Miami Beach hangout at the Fontainebleau Hotel, directly across the street from Surfside 6.

The series ran for two seasons with a total of 74 episodes. The final first run episode aired on June 25, 1962
