Miss Firebird 1964

1964 photo showing Linda Vaughn as “Miss Firebird” promoting Pure Firebird Racing Gas. Linda would sign on with Hurst Performance in 1966 and become “Miss Hurst Golden Shifter”. She quickly became an icon of motorsports and appeared at hundreds of events over the years. She still attends motorsports events and is friends with important figures and race car drivers in the industry. Richard Petty remarked that she is the only person who attended more races than him.
